Test Chem

Heylo and here is the test for my upcoming stopmotion piece for the E4 stinger. Just to test if the blue is completly gone and a image can be comped in the background. It works!! am happy that the piece is working as planed. Now i need to polish and finish it off with a video of a highway behind it.

Chem in action

I am genrally pleased with the outcome of my animation today with my little chameleon model but when i got home it wont load the video so i am hoping that i still have my originals at college! I know i didnt delet them but if i have then i have another pain stacking day ahead of me IDIOT!!!!

But here he is just to show you the model's capabilitys :D

Legacy: - This animation catch's my eyeball because of the interesting design behind the alien.
The concept of the animation is brilliant to.
The way they have animated the aliens movements and little things like him breathing and the tentacle things floating give a nice touch.

Fin D'ete: - The overall style to this peace is amazing and atmospheric,
the only real downside to the animation as a whole is the woman.
She feels so static and has no actual life.
It seems they have concentrated more of the surroundings more than the anything else.
This being said you can still see what they were aiming for.

Replay: - The animation it self is not entirely brilliant but the style works with the story and theme.

Reflection

I feel that i am on task with the particle work but a bit behind on the written work. I will need to dedicate some time to get my written work completed for the end of the week.

A personal project

This is the concept for a short i want to do in my own time possible in flash or digitally painted rotoscope. But basically its a rather sad story of a child loosing his mother and goes to iconic places from what he remembers armed with a wooden sword. I roughly think it will be around 10 mins long but may differ. Still need to write the script out and do some story boards so i can follow the plane with no set backs.

There is going to be string references to WWII with his Grandfather being a fighter pilot during WWII. This is why the child will have a mixed set of things with him. Thinking hes a knight in shinning armour but at the same time a pilot like his Grandfather.

This is going to take age's to do so this is a project for half terms and during the summer hols.

But this is what i would like the little boy to look like.

Yop thats right a video of me painting!! It has been speed up but 15x to fit 8 minuets and was a pain in the pinapples to render in a smaller size. But its done and its here for you all to watch.

This be the first concept of my chameleon which is not my best drawen but it was only a quicky. Tell me what you think about it.

Work in progressssssssssss

this be a piece that i am working on at the mooment. This is only about and hour into it there are still some things that need changing before the detail goes in. But the aim i am going for is a very sorrowful piece. With the character in front of a recent battle. He is going to be old with on tear running down his face with a few battle scars. Also his armour is going to look tattered and seem as though it has been through a hell of a lot of battles.

I might call this piece Tired of Fate or Battle with Faith not sure ideas pleaseeeeeee.

I like the style of the piece and the overall theme to it. The style of the entire piece is strange and the camera moving is very wobbly.

I like the simplicity of this piece all though the style of the piece is not entirely a influence to me.

Another test piece - Old mother

This is a piece that i have been asked to do by my friends relatives. I called it the old mother, the reason behind the name and piece is because the person who asked me to do this piece liked my previous knight painting and she like's Cherokee painting. She is happy with the outcome and it will soon be made into a transfer for a wheel cover on the back of a 4x4.

Update on Stop motion

My main influence to my style and overall look for my stop motion piece i am working on is Creature Comforts Chameleon short. The softness of the skin is what i am aiming to make my stop motion model have the same softness of the skin and texture.

Another concept piece

This is a piece within my new style and it was just a concept piece for a background for a composition i was entering. I ended up using another background since this on was too dark.

Concept Piece called Broken Faith

A piece i created to try out a new style. Quick and fluid hand movements.

The overall style is very much shows the emotion i try to show within my past work. I will grow on this style and try to make more images to its strengths.
