Cat Duck Bill

Here is a test to see what the scenery will look like and with cat duck there to. As you can tell its not finished, cat duck needs texturing and rigged.

Subtle Smile

Here is a portrait i have been working on in my spare time. Pretty lady is a good friend of mine and let me paint this. 

The piece was attached with Photoshop and took around 9 hours in total. I am reasonably pleased with the outcome of the piece since it has been so long since i done a portrait. 

 Here is the way i went about painting "Subtle Smile". From left to right.

Terry Brooks Project

A project i worked on a while ago now though i would put it up.

Cat Duck Bill

From doing some initial drawing i have not really though of the colors for him. So i browsed the net to find this amazing male wood duck.

The colours just work and the fact that this duck looks as though it has floppy ears is brilliant!

Or these colors but i think the wood duck is a must in my opinion.

Here is my latest piece didn't take me to long to create but i think you can tell. Am now starting to do random little animation of my still work. When i have a good series of them they should look quite nice running through as a animation.

New piece and ideas

Hi all i have drafted a few drawings ready to be painted and this is one of them.

I am also going to try painting a different way as well for this series and calling *at this moment in time* "Knights and Dragons" Yes the title is very cliche for this series but the name will change in due time.

Also this series will hopefully get published by this time next year. That is if all goes well.

Along side of this i am creating a small series of animations called "CatDuck Bill" more will be revealed on this as the month goes on.

Update

The piece i was doing has now been scrapped due to it failing in every single way. But i shall keep it to learn from this mistake and continue with the next image i have in mind.

So keep an eye on this page there maybe some loverly things for me to show you.

Grot Glider

Hi all this is my first conversion i have done! So please tell me what you think of it?!

It was made out of skaven spares, like there spears and blades. 2 bases to create the base of the glider and some green stuff to get more of the shape i was after. The arial is made out of 1mm thick wire along with the cable dangling off.

my dark souls design

For a Dark Souls composition. Unfortunately the size of the image on there site is tiny so you cant see the engravings. :/

Prepare for Battle!

And she is finally finished! Probably one of the hardest images iv ever done! I feel i could do much better with the army behind him there a bit dull but the overall composition works fine and the colours are very warm and dark. Please tell me what you think and spread my work around if you like it :).

This is a break down on how i generally do my work there is no comments on what  is what but i go back and write some or do a live paint on my next piece and explain the process of how i do my work. The sorts of short cuts i use and how i get my lighting the way i do.

Also here is a short animation of the still image nothing special but it adds a little something to the image.

Its been a while

Well i havnt posted in awhile but here is what iv been working on when i can. This weekend there may be a video upload of a test render for "New Dawn" animation.

I realise that i haven't updated in a while and that is simply to do with me working my socks off. Currently at Archus studios and working on the "New Dawn" piece. Final Show

Ok here are the final show pictures i took on the night. Am going back to get more better quality ones with out people in the way. Overall the final show turned out to be a huge success and am very happy for every one and my tutors. Its been a brilliant 2 years and will miss it. But here are the photos.
